Adirondacks Retreat

Cloudy, rainy days in the Adirondacks didn't interfere with our enthusiasm of dyeing fabric and socks. We were amazed at the colorful results, each piece of fabric and sock was its own unique color and pattern. The dull gray sky only heightened the intensity of the colors.

The only bears we saw never moved.

Mail is delivered - by boat when necessary.

After dyeing fabric we left it on the lawn overnight to wash out the excess color.

Socks dried on the railing.

When the rain stopped, fabric dried on the lawn after we had washed out the excess dye.
